James Raymo is a professor in the Department of Sociology at Princeton University and Director of both the Global Japan Lab and the Office of Population Research. He is interested in demographic change, particularly in East Asia, as it relates to marriage timing, education, equality, well-being, and family change, including a focus on the well-being of the elderly.
