Aoki Hidekazu, born in 1955, is an independent researcher and writer on ecological economics. His major works include: Koukyou Seisaku no Rinrigaku [Ethics for Public Policy] (Maruzen, 2002) and "Okane" Houkai ["Money" Collapse] (Shueisha, 2008).
