Seo-Hyun Park
Seo-Hyun Park is Professor of International Relations and Department Head in the Department of Government and Law at Lafayette College. Her primary areas of research are national identity politics, state sovereignty and state-building, and regionalism, with a focus on East Asia. She is the author of Sovereignty and Status in East Asian International Relations (Cambridge University Press, 2017) and has published articles in journals such as Review of International Studies, International Relations, Journal of East Asian Studies, etc. Her current research projects include the proliferation of state and nonstate military mobilizations in late nineteenth century East Asian international relations; and immigration and refugee politics in East Asia.
