Hideya Kawanishi
Hideya Kawanishi is Associate Professor of Japanese History in the Graduate School of Humanities at Nagoya University. He is active in the media as a critic and commentator on Japan’s emperor system, and is the author of Heisei no tennō to sengo Nihon (The Heisei Emperor and Postwar Japan) and Kindai tennōsei kara shōchō tennōsei e (From the Early Modern Emperor System to the Emperor as a Symbol).
