Arnel Joven
Arnel E. Joven is Assistant Professor of History at the University of Asia and the Pacific, Manila, Philippines. He wrote his dissertation in 2012 on health in the Philippines during the Japanese occupation period. He has written and published articles related to medicine and health in wartime Philippines. He is a historian and anthropologist continually studying food and medicine in the Philippines, Korea, and Japan.
