Ramesh Thakur
Ramesh Thakur is Emeritus Professor of International Relations in the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University; Senior Research Fellow, Toda Peace Institute; and Fellow of the Australian Institute of International Affairs. He is a former United Nations Assistant Secretary-General and was Foundation Director of the Balsillie School of International Affairs in Waterloo, Ontario. His most recent book is Reviewing the Responsibility to Protect: Origins, Implementation and Controversies (Routledge, 2019)
