Okiyoshi Takeda is Professor in the School of Politics, Economics, and Communication at Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo. He earned a Ph.D. in politics from Princeton University in 2000. His publications include Asian American Politics (coauthored with Andrew L. Aoki, Polity Press, UK, 2008), and three articles on the depictions of Asian Pacific Americans reproduced in introductory American Government textbooks used in US colleges (which appeared in the following refereed journals: PS: Political Science and Politics, Journal of Political Science Education, and Politics, Groups, and Identities).
