Holger Droessler is an Assistant Professor of History at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts, USA. He is an historian of nineteenth- and twentieth-century U.S. history, with a special focus on imperialism, capitalism, and the Pacific Ocean. He is the author of Coconut Colonialism: Workers and the Globalization of Samoa (Harvard University Press, 2022).
