Alexander Rotard
Alexander Rotard is a doctoral student at Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Social Sciences. He has published work on settler identity and colonial violence in colonial Algeria as well as the role of Japan Times propaganda in the 19th-20th century Anglo-Japanese rapprochement. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis which examines the role of Japan Times propaganda in the international justification of the colonisation of Korea.
