Elizabeth Miki Brina's memoir and debut book, Speak, Okinawa, was published in February of 2021 by Knopf Doubleday Press. Her work has appeared in The Sun, River Teeth, Lit Hub, and Gulf Coast Magazine, among others. She currently lives and teaches in New Orleans.
