He was formerly a DAAD Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of History, University of Hong Kong and Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Public History, University of Essex, coordinating the “War Memoryscapes in Asia Partnership” (WARMAP). He is the co-editor (with Stephanie Yeo) of Exhibiting the Fall of Singapore: Close Readings of a Global Event (NMS, 2018) and (with Mark R. Frost and Edward Vickers) of Remembering Asia’s World War Two (Routledge, 2019). Currently, he is part of a UNESCO-funded project that explores Southeast Asia's intangible conflict heritage. |
