Thomas J. Ward
Thomas J. Ward is Dean of the University of Bridgeport’s College of Public and International Affairs. A former Fulbright scholar, Ward has also been a Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Fellow as well as a visiting scholar in the People’s Republic of China. In 2016 Ward was a visiting research scholar at Academia Sinica in Taipei where he researched Taiwanese perspectives on the comfort women issue. In 2016 with his colleague William Lay he co-authored “The Comfort Women Controversy: Not Over Yet,” which appeared in East Asia. They are currently completing a book that expands on this topic.
