Miyamoto Takashi
Miyamoto Takashi is an Assistant Professor in the University of Tokyo Archives. His study centers on institutional changes of punishment in Japan, India, and the Malay Peninsula during the 19th-20th centuries. He is especially interested in the international circulation of information on penology and its impact on the lives of inmates. In order to trace the international network of penological information, he is also exploring a methodology of digital history.
