Kyle Cleveland is Associate Professor of Sociology at Temple University’s Japan Campus, and is the Director of Study Abroad and Honors Programming. As the founding director of TUJ’s Institute of Contemporary Asian Studies, he has organized a series of public lectures, workshops and symposia on the Tōhoku disasters. He is co-editor (with Scott Knowles and Ryuma Shineha) of Legacies of Fukushima: 3.11 in Context (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2021).
