OKANO Yayo is Professor in the Graduate School of Global Studies of Dōshisha University and a specialist on political philosophy and feminist theory. She is the author of Against the War: The Ethics of Care and a Vision of Peace (2015), The Politics of Feminism: Introducing the Ethics of Care to the Global Society (2012), and other works. Her English publications include “Reconciliation over Past Sexual Slavery in Japan” in The Gender Politics of War Memory (2012).
