Hiroshi Toriyama
Toriyama Hiroshi (鳥山洋) is a researcher at the East Japan Buraku Liberation Institute. In 2020, he assumed the position of Secretary-General of the Institute. His main areas of research include the local history of discriminated-against people in Kanagawa Prefecture during the modern period. He contributed an article about “Kanagawa” and “Changes in modern society and chōri/hinin” in History of the Buraku of Eastern Japan I – III published in 2018.
