Komori Yoichi
Komori Yoichi, born in Tokyo in 1953, is a professor at the University of Tokyo Graduate School. A scholar of modern Japanese literature, he is the author of numerous books, including The Voices of the Dead, the Words of the Living: In Pursuit of Nuclear Japan through Literature (Shisha no koe, seija no kotoba: Bungaku de tou gempatsu no Nihon; Shinnihon Shuppansha, 2014); On Soseki: For Surviving the Twentieth Century (Soseki ron: nijuuisseiki o ikinukutameni; Iwanami Shoten, 2010); Remember, Protest, and Survive (Kiokuseyo, kogiseyo, soshite ikinobiyo; Shinefurontosha, 2010); The Broadcast of the Imperial Voice (Tenno no gyokuon hoso; Asahi Shimbun Shuppan, 2008); and Refugees—The “Frontiers of Thought” (Nanmin; co-authored with Ichinokawa Yasutaka, Iwanami Shoten, 2007). He is also Executive Secretary of the Article 9 Association.
